Unit 5183
Category: Cluster dug in 1999
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: group of unusual/special objects
Data Category Information: Location: floors; Deposition: secondary deposition; Basal Spit: green stone axe, obsidian
Description: A cluster of a green stone axe, an obsidian scraper and another large piece of obsidian within the matrix of unit 5335
Discussion: [5183] was a group of three 'unusual' objects in the south west corner of the northern 'dirty' area of building 17/spave 170. They appear to have been dumped as part of a floor packing deposits [5335] rather than having been specially placed but still represent an interesting/distinctive collection
