Unit 5522
Category: Layer dug in 2002
Area: South
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: foundation cut; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: the excavation of this layer started on the 3rd of july probably later than the infill of rooms and walls but we started going down to keep up with the work in the area. The cut was easily identified in the beginning but later it was more and more difficult to recognize. So we stopped excavating and started work on the infill 5523.
Then after a couple of days, the -- and the infill was taken out so 5522 was then finally removed, lovely! Clayey herd fill which was difficult to take out.
