Discussion: When Ali did the midden excavating this but seemed slightly later than what was left behind S to the pit so fast, we started taking this out.

More building material rubble in this midden than any other layers excavated yet so I thought it might be coming down to a collapsed building. 

Recognition: Midden layers below 5671, cut by pit 

Definition: Defined by rubble/w to the W, trench walls and pit cut to the south 

Execution: Mattock 

Condition: dry 

Consistency: loose 

Colour: dark brown with orange mottles 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: layered 

Inclusions: like midden deposits before this 

Post-depositional Features: some fine roots, some insect activity 

Basal Boundary: diffused to a more orangish layer
