Discussion: This unit is a mix of orange building material, yellowish clay, and tiny areas of ashy stuff. There was a clear distinction between the orange material and the others, but all is seen as one unit filling up the space in ffront of the slumped wall.

Unit description: X2 is a complete sheep scapula, indicating extremely good preservational conditions. There are two bags of sample 2 flotation, kept separate in case. Sample 2 (flot 3457, F1-12) >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. This is a small sample of little bits, many digested. There are a couple of sheep/goat diagnostics, one of them a fetal long bone. Fair amount of burning, somewhat worn surface condition. Looks like fill or construction material. Sample 2 (flot 3534, F13-25) >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. It is fairly similar, and contains a bit of scapula spine that is very likely the missing part of X2. I am afraid I was not quite motivated enough to dig out the crate with the scapula from the bottom of the pile. On this bit, the break looks like a combination of postdepositional and modern. Thus the scapula was probably complete in the ground and may have been placed, as it stands in distinct contrast to the rest of the unit.
