Phosphate, phtolith, ICP & architectural samples were not taken in this unit. Because the top layer was already removed (last season). This unit was excavated to expose the platform floor. The material consisted of packing plus floors that had been truncated at the wall edges. The walls were mostly covered in white plaster , although the eastern wall was lacking plaster in its southern portion . There is a discoloration of the soil in the center of the platform floor which is thought to be a burial cut. This discoloration spans 4 units; only the northeastern edge is within this unit(6257). The northeast corner of this unit may also have a posthole since the floor is not discernible here and the soil is silt. The surface of the floor was not apparent in the northern part of the unit near the wall edge. The burial is cut from the top floor which was exposed in the last field season.
Recognition: Texture & soil color different from underlying platform floor (whitish), packing in brown with some floors also.
