Discussion: Top of layer was white plaster that I chunked out at Mira's request. It is hard and dry at the top and when "chunked", it gives way relatively easily to a soft and friable reddish brown underneath. Later it appeared that a basin (?) had been filled in this unit. Underneath, there are several clay balls- some at the west end of the unit and some in the east profile abutting F. 646 in the adjacent unit. Final interpretation when closed was that this unit is packing of either a basin or a floor yet to be exposed . We must remove the adjacent semicircular "floor"?
The clay balls still need to be removed (there are a total of 9 exposed- three in the west end where there is a crack and six in the east profile)
*note* this was later taken out as F. 758 in unit 8100.
The basal boundry of this unit was contemporaneous with basal boundary of units 6695 and 8104. It was distinct however because 6695 and 8104 were grayish/ black floors and 6696 (this unit) was a thick layer of white clay.
