Discussion: Bricks size 47x37x6 - 10 cm. Wall made of mud-bricks and located in the grave pit (cut 6755), infill 6754). Preserved length from N side: 185cm and 158 cm from S side, and depth 34 cm. The wall consists of four layers of bricks laid down regularly. Its western part was destroyed by a later cut oriented N - S. As a result skull of skeleton buried in this grave was not preserved (see unit 6755). Destruction of eastern part of the wall comprises removal of its outer part however its inner part remains preserved. Thus the shape of the grave pit can be observed. Interestingly, some bricks contain small fragments of human bones and pottery. It means that bricks were made of earlier deposit which contained earlier material. This is possibly late Roman/early Byzantic pottery. This pottery is identical to what we found in layers around the wall.
