Unit 6967
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: pit fill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 1,92 x 1,14 x 0,30
Discussion: NW part of pit is destroyed by a later burial cut (6955). Consistency, colour and texture of the fill similar to the one observed in unit 6948 and 6919. It is characterized by mixture of sand, clay and silt. It has also large inclusions of ash. All archeological material found here such as grain, pottery, bones were burned. II would argue that these units had a similar function and possibly they should be interpreted as oven(s). It is clear that feature recorded as units 6997 and 6974 are older than unit 6948, 6958 and 6919, 6920.
