Discussion: This layer of bricks is a bottom part of two layers of bricks ca 45 cm deep (unit 6884). All those two units are part of one feature. Its function is difficult to define. However, this is very clearly visible and was easy to distinguish. It may be a house wall, which fell down as a results of fire or after the house was abandoned.

Definition: layer with 8 rows of parallel bricks

Condition: dry 

Consistency: firm / friable 

Colour: light grey, whitish 

Texture: silt 

Bedding: n/a
