A vast orange layer of burnt clay below 7151 and 7112 (a thick white layer). It's origin and function is not clear - it could have been a part of a floor but the very convolute boundary makes it less probable. One thing is clear: it was somehow created in fire. There is no clear difference between 7152 and 7168. 

 

Recognition: by color: orange; by consistency: stronger than around (than 7013) 

Definition: diffuse boundaries 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: hot, dry 

Consistency: strong, compact 

Colour: orange 

Texture: burnt clay 

Bedding: layered: clay, silt, sand and ashy lenses 

Inclusions: artefactual:pottery, bones, obsidian
