Discussion: This is a pit, the function of which is difficult to define. It might be an upper part of the burial, however its lower part has different size and shape. A row of mudbricks has been discovered at the base of the unit. These are probably construction elements of the burial lying underneath. It could be connected with the pit 7825 found below. It was not a grave construction but a kind of storage pit that probably destroyed earlier graves.
