Discussion: This is a compact greyish layer around circumference of large Hellenistic pit located in central part of the trench. It is a continuarion of similar constructions in upper part of the same pit (e.g. units 7411, 7412). A reason of its existence was probably to strenghten the wall of this very deep pit. It is possible that some elements of this construction come from destroyed roof of the Neolithic house (unit 7866).
