Discussion: Unit 7848 is a layer situated in SW part of an extension between unit 7849 and W edge of excavated area and on the N it boarders with unit 7845. The layer was located on the surface of a mat (unit 9820). The unit was distinguished in season 2003 and is presented on the plan 03/133. However after winter break during the seasons and cleaning the trench its shape has slightly changed which can be observed in plan 04/802.
The base of unit 7848 was distinguished clearly as matting (8920) differs in colour but iis inclined in NW direction so the lowest ranges from 1017.75 to 1017.61.
