Description: full-on sampling; this unit is a cache within 7957 

 

Discussion: One figurine was found several days ago when cleaning the area and was left until the unit was properly excavated (context unknown). Five other fragments of animal figurines (and three pieces) were found along the inside of a plastered arm that appears to extend from the partition wall attached to the south wall. In profile (south wall) it looks as if this night be the packing of a platform. This unit was excavated less than 40 cm. In depth. The figurines were very near the surface and all found within this small area.
