Unit 8060
Category: layer dug in 2003
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: Plaster layer
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: raised area (platform); Material: plaster; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: This deposit represents a layer of heavily compacted plaster that forms the surface of platform 1316. This deposit abutts pillar 1308 and lies north of the pillar. It is quite heavily eroded and seems to be sitting on top of a brown packing deposit. This deposit was difficult to follow in plan at times and in parts the boundary with the layer below was arbitrary. After this deposit had been removed a boundary appeared which represents the northern edge of bench 1315.
