Discussion: This floor was the remains of the packing layer for a floor excavated last season (2000). It consisted of hard, thick layers closer to the SE corner and was very thin. Western edge borderd on sp. 158 and seems to continue on underneath this area. 

 

Recognition: white plaster and dark grey and brown layers 

Definition: sw corner of F. 606, very clear 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry and thin 

Consistency: very hard and dry 

Colour: 5Y 8/1 

Texture: clay 

Bedding: compound layered 

Inclusions: none 

Post-depositional Features: none (maybe extreme compression?) 

Basal Boundary: sharp, anthropic
