Unit 8224
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: floor
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: Removal of thin layer of white plaster floor (8165), coming down onto layer of phytoliths and salts which strangely, is very continuous, even layered towards west. Under white plaster- dry reddish/ brown packing mostly easily separates from the floor. Towards west it's more crackly (8224) and probably, thus repaired several times. Layer excavates as 8224 thick 20-60 mm, sitting on another reddish/brown packing like layer. Salts/ phytoliths show very regular shape of extent, vanishing gradually from 20-15cm before hitting the southern wall and vanishing gradually from 20-15 cm before hitting the southern wall remnants of white floor inside of what was F.769 treated as same floor.
