Discussion: Ashy packing in the SE part of the kitchen and E from F. 778, lying underneath red floor around F. 778.
It was partly sitting on the floor (unit 8372) so we started removing it but it appeared to be under the layer of red clay floor around F. 778, so we decidet to stop excavating it for now.
It contains a lot of charred wood, ash and small pieces of scorched clay. It seems to be the fill of F. 778, that was used for the packing.
