Discussion: Skeleton first uncovered during BACH 2002 excavations and reported as below:
Skeleton 8598 was discovered directly underneath Sk. 8584. There was very little soil between these skeletons although the skeletons were easily distinguished from one another. Only part of Sk. 8598 was excavated in the 2002 season. The bones showing included the cranium, ribs, partial scapula, femur, hipbone and an arm bone.

Excavated in 2012 and reported as below:
Primary undisturbed neolithic burial at the bottom of a sequence of burials. The burial has disturbed and even earlier burial. The bones appeared to be stained with ochre - as they were quite red when they were exposed.

Body: Flexed tightly on its right side. 

Head: Oriented to the east, skull facing west 

Right Arm: Tightly flexed against the chest. Bent backwards against radius / ulna 

Left Arm: Tightly flexed against the chest. Bent backwards. Elbow between lower legs. Left hand flexed and running down along the femur (wall effect in femur). 

Right Leg: Tightly flexed against the chest. 

Left Leg: Tightly flexed against the chest.
