Unit 8985

Category: layer    dug in 2004

Area: TP

Interpretive Categories: infill,layer

Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous

Dimensions: 0.62 x 0.60 x 0,39

Discussion: The unit is situated in N part of an extension. It was first distinguished as a layer but later it occured that it is more an infill than a layer because it was more concentrated in one area.
It was a burnt infill with a big amount of big fragments of pottery with traces of burning. Those fragments of pottery come from big pots - it will be probably possible to complete two of them.
There were taken 4 botanical samples. The S1 comes from an infill, S2 from inner part of one of the pots - its top rim part, S3 from inner part of a pot - but feet part) and S4 is a sample of stem from an infill.
