| Mound: East | An area covering to a great extent Mellaart Area A and B. It was defined within a framework of an architectural research aiming to reexamine the outlines of as well as the relationships between buildings of the upper levels exposed during the 1960's excavation seasons. The GDN stands for Gdansk - a city in northern Poland which most of the GDN team members come from.
