Location: Off-site, fields to east and south of the East Mound
In 2005-2006 a team from Selcuk University conducted a geophysical and surface collection survey off-site to the southeast of the East Mound to assess the location and extent of the Classical and later remains that are known to lie in this area. On the basis of their results a series of evaluation trenches (Trench A, Trench B and Trench C) were opened in 2006 located over areas that were shown as anomalies in the geophysical survey but upon investigation proved negative. No further work was conducted in these areas.
History: Reinstated back to agricultural use.
