Excavation Diary Entry

Entry: Yesterday was a hard day, but we managed to get all the graves and skeletons documented and out, especially Scott was a great help these days.

In Trench 5, grave 2406 and 2409 were finished. Under the fill 13771 of the first, we uncovered yet another white plaster line, running EW and looking quite EC. Nice surprise on the last day of excavation, and will help us add to our preliminary plan of the EC arcitecture we got so far. After removsl of 13767 in 2409, the yellow mudbricks already exposed by JAL and CDG continue, supporting my initial assesment that they are not a continuation of 13773, but a separate thing 13794 very similar I orientation to the mudbrick grave we already got. This stuff has to be documented in the remaining days.

We dug down into the fill in space 310 next to EC wall 2408 with unit 13793 and 13796 down to the base level of the mudbrick wall of grave 2403. Pure EC units with big potsherd fragments.
