| Entry: | Today me and Katy H dramatically altered the landscape features of the trench - we finished the planning and removal of the mud bricks surrounding F.2414 (14227 and 14228, bricks and mortqar respectively), and then proceeded to hack back into unit 14217, cleaning down the entire spit that used to house this feature. This was a big effort, moving quite a lot of soil reasonably quickly. Many more human bones appeared, but none were articulated and all appeared to be part of the general chopping and messing around that characterises this area. Bones of all parts of the body, from humans of all ages, are mixed in with animal bones, pot, obsidian, etc. This appears to be a fairly representative measure of the background 'noise' at this level, from what I've seen of the trench.
