Working with TEB in SW corner today (14278). We were following a surface he found there. I found a stone ball, which caused much excitement and debate. There was also a nice big piece of pottery in the stuff we were digging today which I uncovered. Got terribly possessive over my finds, as this corner is very much TEB's area, with me kind of helping out at the moment. Despite feeling somewhat second-string I'm getting on well with TEB.
Sleeping at lunch is still successful, although it's a bit of a filthy thing to do, seeing as I sleep in my digging clothes in my own bed. Might try to sleep outside from now on, don't like the dust so much. Getting the dreaded lurgey, and feeling a little sorry for myself. JPQ just gave me some multi-vitamins which I'm incredibly appreciative of.
Just looked through the discussion on making entries private. I think there were some interesting points made. The only reason I'd make anything private is if it's about an individual on site, and I agree entirely with KH that the public should have the opportunity to understand that archaeology isn't clear cut and I thought RBWs points were well put.Entered By: N.
