Start of week three. First thing we cleaned up briefly then I took some photographs and so did Michael. Jim came up and set up our grid which should hopefully suffice for most of our needs for the rest of the season. Åsa, Sharon, Serdar and Adnan spent the rest of the day drawing elevations/sections and Mark began a base plan. Peter took some small flotation samples from the southern section [Space 153] in the hope that we can clarify where exactly the owl-pellets etc which were dug as 3021 came from. I finally managed to spend some time tidying up paperwork which is a relief, my backlog is now only large instead of massive. The drawing should hopefully only take about another day or so before we can resume removing infilling. I will need to work out a strategy as physically getting the material out of the area is becoming progressively more problematical.Entered By: Craig Cessford |
