Entry: | Working in Building 59 today removing a patchy plaster floor and associated make up 14641 in space 276. This appears to represent the earliest floor in this space which is now down to room fill.
Conservation and human remains have been working in trench 1 recording skeleton 15924 (F2910), a flexed juvenile with a bead necklace. BB has been working in Trench 2 recording and lifting (hopefully) the last disarticulated and semi-articulated human bone from the base of cut F2843. Skeleton 15621 in this feature was of interest as four obsidian blades were, possibly in a pouch. This in the first time obsidian tools have been found in a female burial. At least one more burial is showing up in the base of Trench 2 and I will begin exposing this tomorrow.Entered By: DE |
