| Entry: | Most of today was spent on recording elevations and the base plan. We have now completed most of this recording so some time tomorrow we should get back on to removing infilling. Doing the base plan has really helped to understand the layout of the Building 5. Ian made it fairly explicit that Building 5 has to look good for Press Day, this should be achievable unless things become more complicated. He is also talking about changing the recording system, whilst I am no great fan of some aspects of the context sheet system I think that we need to have a much better idea of what we are going to replace it with before we do anything. I also don’t like the idea of doing different parts of a building in different ways or having a dual system. Implementing these changes would probably slow us down at least initially which is a problem if we have to meet targets by Press Day.Entered By: Craig Cessford |
