| Entry: | Start of the fourth week. Things have begun to slow down a bit and this is likely to be the start of a trend. The infilling is now probably down near to floors almost everywhere and we will spend quite a bit of time cleaning up the walls which is obviously necessary but doesn’t feel like ‘real’ progress. In space 154 we revealed a platform in the south-west corner which although partially truncated in antiquity appears to be interesting with a number of different phases including a northwards extension. Its position mirrors a platform in building 1. In space 154 Åsa found a collapsed wall which had fallen and is now lying horizontally.
The floors are now becoming a bit of a topic and I will have to start thinking of a strategy to deal with them. Hopefully we can arrive at a relatively simple and speedy solution.Entered By: Craig Cessford |
