| Entry: | Less unit numbers today. I can't really remember all of them, and it's lunchtime. I'm squeezing this in before an afternoon site tour, a football match, and preparations for an entertaining evening, so I figured this is the only real slot available to write a short diary before our day off.
This morning I helped Sonia draw the mudbrick (15320) and mortar (15321) wall. After this I floated around helping with the odd paperwork query, before letting loose on a room fill. We exposed two by removing this fill (15833). All is being sieved. It's been sampled, archived, and the finds sorted. I'm happy that all is going according to the book!
This afternoon we have a short 30 minute cleaning session in preparation for the site tour.
I can't wait until Saturday, virtual Monday, when we beast out more room fill and see the architecture around us! |
