| Entry: | Today I worked again in unit 16833 taking down fill. For awhile there was some concern that we had taken out the top parts of a wall on the western side of the unit. Maxime and Jana did a lot of cleaning and I sieved the soil we were taking out. Later on in the day when we had a better idea, we went ahead and opened up another unit (16859) to document the fill between the walls that we found. This area will get assigned a space number as well, since we were able to finally identify walls on each side. Rather frustrating day trying to figure everything out, but we finally were able to incorporate what Alex and I found a few days ago while doing surface cleaning into what we're seeing in that particular set of units.
I'm supposed to be working in the lithics lab today, but I'm told Stringy is sick, so I will check in in a few minutes to see if anyone else needs anything. |
