| Entry: | Today Ray, Dan and I were outlining the mudbrick walls, the same feature numbers I mentioned yesterday. These will appear on the daily sketch. Room fill 16838 was tackled today by Jemima, Maxim and Sonia. We did begin a unit sheet 16825 for the upper part of the room fill, which we later discovered is the same as 16838 - whilst this arbitrary layer did cause some confusion, responsibility on my part taken, in the long scheme of things it is already sorted - we just make a note on the arbitrary unit 16825 that it is the same as 16828. We continue to remove the room fill 16838 without any further reference to the arbitrary layer 16825.
Two graves were recognised in the western profile of Trench 5 today. It seems that these will be too much to tackle in the time we have, so they will be postponed until next year. |
