| Entry: | 8th August. I thought that after doing practically nothing yesterday everything would be easy today - but this is Catalhoyuk! I decided to take out the deposit south of F279, the big moulding, to try to release it from that side, but it proved to be impossible to define it for the same reasons that it is difficult to define the feature. However, I found that a layer of orange-brown bricky stuff that I thought was under the main plaster layer on the feature was in fact over it; took it off, and got a much clearer view of the structure. Actually, it looks more like a piece of wall now, but I don't know how long that will last.Entered By: Naomi Hamilton |
