| Entry: | Continued excavating in space 342 today, particualrly around the buttress which goes into the profile (5062). Nothing particularly intersting came out, except a few larger pot sherds in the Northern part. We also cleaned te whole of the space back just before the end of the day so it will be interesting to see how it all fits together tomorrow. In other news we just had a thrilling meeting about the sherd garden. Quite different to Brak - it seems to be designed mre to fit pots together than to arrange a typology but maybe that is part of the aim which Ingmar will do himself. Longer day was quite good - I prefer excavating to heavy residue, especially plaster chasing on the buttresses. More irrelevance tomorrow, I'm sure... |
