we have been digging for two days now and it appears we may have a bit of a slog in building 80 as mostr of it is filled with very very compacted mudbrick like material. The dumps appear to consist of very broken up building material, from both partially burnt buidlings and non burnt buildings. This must be imported as the material doesn’t look like the walls of the of building 80 and there is to much, so again where does this stuff come from. Around the edges of this dumped materila is very burnt rubble that may be demolition from upper walls as the main dumping is being undertaken. The timbers of the buildings roof must also have been left in the building and covered/sealed during this dumping. Anyway its hard work and these bones are a bit achy. |
