Today SCS and I excavated and finished Unit 15139 in Space 341. This roomfill looks very heterogeneous, interesting are especially the huge chunks of burned and unburned clay which seem to gather next to the walls/buttresses. An interesting structure in the NE-corner looks like a quite complete mudbrick that fell into the roomfill, in 2 cases it looks like there are second phases of the wall (5056) and maybe (but I`m very unsure about that) buttress 5054. We are going to clear those situations in Unit 15152. The border of the unit 15139 in the NE-corner is absolutly unclear to me, I don`t think it is exactly like it appears now in the sketch on the sheet and in the drawing, but I also don`t know a better border for this unit. Unfortunatly I personally can`t see anything in this part of the unit that would clearly separate it from the units surrounding it.

Today SCS and I excavated Unit 15152 in space 341. We took out some roomfill in order to look for the earlier phases of the walls/butresses5054, 5055, 5056 and 5057. Interesting is a mudbrick located in the SE-corner, which is not in line under the later phase of the wall 5056 but looking a little into the room. On buttress 5057 I can`t see any mortar/mudbrick structure due to an animal burrow. Really awesome are the two parts of dark red painted plaster (on a yellowish-white ground) that turned up in the NE - corner, some 20 cm under the structure of darker soil and a surrounding plasterline we found yesterday. But this painted plaster has probably fallen down from a wall (?).
In general I have the impression that we are digging a relly intersting room with quite a lot nice obsidians and obsidian and flint tools (but this impression might be caused by an increased caution on x-finding the lithics because Sonja asked us to), whereas there is few painted pottery, the sherds in this room look rather "simple" (in comparison to space 310 for example). While going down we noticed that the soil now seems to contain more clay than the upper part of the unit.
