Excavated layer - small patch of material [3182]. Cleaned trench - appear to be at point where most of the layers in space 151 are strat. sealed by the oven 252. Conservators up - unfortunately not before a section of the wall at the E. end of space 151 had collapsed. Battening tomorrow. Priority tour - discussing possibility of larger units because of small size of some, most going into archive samples - decided where layer split into several units then take smaller sample units. AR up - took some phytolith samples in space 151 this afternoon ( and BM). EH has taken over from TC in space 150. [Not full day on site].Entered By: Richard Turnbull |
