| Entry: | Today me, BOD and JFB levelled out what was left of unit 15159, except for feature 3322, which was carefully defined and drawn. This rectangular feature is lined by mudbrick and plaster lines, and its inside yielded a layer of plaster largely disturbed by animal burrows. Its function (bin? oven?), however, still needs to be clarified. The removal of the bulk of soil that constituted unit 15159, confirmed the existence of the plaster lines that had already been detected on the area. However, the discovery of a new plaster line running in a S-N direction to the south of F.3321 added a degree of confusion, since it is still unclear whether it connects in any way with this feature or the floor (U.15170). |
