| Entry: | Today I continued working on the floor in the northeast corner of the trench, which has now been assigned Unit number 15341. Its southern boundary was determined, although it is very irregular and its connection to the wall that we thought would be closing it on its southern side is unclear. In fact the mere existence of this wall (U.15342), beyond a plaster line running in a W-E direction, is not completely clear to me. In order to find out whether there is a mudbrick structure attached to the plaster line, I took down the fill south to the floor (U.15342) after lunch. I shall level out and scrape this area tomorrow, which will help us clarify the existence or not of this wall. Likewise, the western end of the floor has not been found yet. |
