| Entry: | Today was the third day of excavation this season and we have continued to remove large amounts of soil from the extended area of Trench 5. I was working on Unit 15350 with 3 others. Work has been held up by the lack of sieves, originally only the one, but two more were set up today which allowed much quicker processing. Then again, this meant that many people were left in the sun for extended periods. Things are moving relatively swiftly though, even with the human bone appearing in the southwest corner, and interesting features are already appearing. |
