| Entry: | I finished unit 15366 in space 340 today. It was not terribly exciting, with few finds in the fill. Lots of hard, red plaster inclusions made levelling quite difficult.
Afterwards, I began a new arbitrary layer, unit 15374. Still lots of chunks of plaster, but also a lot more finds, especially big sherds of pottery. The wall is still a bit tricky to see, and needs sorting out.
As I am still above what seems to be ground level in the adjacent units, I will, after finishing my unit tomorrow, take off a deeper arbitrary layer to try and reach their level and see if anything interesting is waiting at the bottom of the space. |
