Entry: Today I finished drawing the plaster floor that was exposed yesterday (U. 15371). After this, I moved on to lift the floor and excavate a new 10 cm artificial layer of Space 446. As before, no features were found in the southern area (near the 'entrance doorway'). A section was made in the central area of the Space (E-W). However, the stratigraphy did not provide a great insight into the function or differences between the plaster floor and the orange yellow sandy surface. As a result it was decided to continue excavating further north and to cut another section closer to where the plaster floor is better preserved. In the process, another possible plaster floor was discovered underneath U. 15371, which was given Unit number 15388. A working photograph was taken and excavation will resume tomorrow.
