| Entry: | Today I finished unit 15374, an arbitrary layer of room fill in space 340. Like the previous unit, 15366, there were realtively few finds, though large pieces of pot sherd turned up. I also had two X-finds: A clay ball and a blue bead fragment. The fill is still littered with large chunks of reddish-orange plaster that makes levelling the surface quite hard. Patches of dark brown-black soil also showed up close to the walls.
After clearing unit 15374, I opened unit 15386 to take off another arbitrary layer, hopefully finding the ground level within the next two units.
Admittedly, I was very tired today, and unfortunately managed to practically deface a part of the plaster on the western wall. I will try not to do that again. |
