Entry: This is the beginning of my diary entry of building 97 (South area). The excavation started above one week. The main purpose is to find out more about stratigraphy of this building and find a first, earliest floor.
I am working on the space 469 (storage room on the west part of building divided from space 395 by partition wall). On the first day the new bin was reveal (F.3544). It abutted to another bin (F.3543). It is swallow and the traces of using it are visible only in the grounds of one layer.
The next step was to remove all 3 bins lying one next to another and the space before them in porpose of finding a connection with a central floor (F. 3518). It is hard to say now if bins are older or younger then central floor but the floor in front of them is definitely older, as I find the trace of part of partition wall which partly go in under the central floor.
During removing bins I also notice quite smooth layer of plaster lying under the make-up of the most south situated bin. As the north edge of it is straight and it is placed mostly in the place of the edge of the younger south bin it could be both the part of the floor or another bin. I am during to examinate that case.
