| Entry: | After a short day off we have been continuing the excavation of the room fill 19391. Due to lack of any sight of a floor in the eastern part of the space 470 we decided to uncover the layer till one level - the same as the bed of discovered few days ago cluster of clay balls [19392]. The mentioned activity aimed to clean the area and record situation observed in one elevation all over the space (photo and drawing).
During the work in the very morning it appeared that in western part of the space below explored room fill [19391] there is clear visible surface of phytolits. After taking closer look at the (micro-)section of the mentioned deposit we noticed the laminated sequence of repeating layers of white phytolits and subsequent mid-brown silt that might be interpreted as an earth floor or a structure of roof.
Tomorrow we are going to complete exploration (19391) in order to uncover the whole whitish surface in west side and west-southern corner. |
