Entry: We are currently still excavating the west wall of building 89, space 379. Today we found the interface layer between the south and north side layers of the wall. On the north side of the wall the current layer we have uncovered is a very reddish clay brown. The south side of the west wall has a lot of inclusions including ash, charcoal, bones, obsidian, pottery, and clay balls. Moreover, while these inclusions appear in the north side of the west wall as well, the color is different as well as the size of these inclusions, especially the charcoal.

There is also a plaster feature in the north side of the wall which we are assuming is a bin of some sort that is actually connected to the wall from what we can tell thus far in our excavation. There is another plaster feature which appears to be molding in the middle of the west wall that is too low we determined to be a post.

The game plan for tomorrow is to continue on to the next layer so that we are able to better establish the relationship between all of the layers in the building.
