Entry: As sp.469 seemed to be earlier than the rest of the B.97 I change a place of digging and now whole team works on sp.365. We are strongly sure that central floor and the NE part are contemprorary. Hovewer the S part was earlier so we started from taking three layers on which it consisted of. We think that the younger was dirty floor (U.20325) while the make-up on SE (U.20326) corner and the plaster on the SW area (U.20324) was older.
After removing that three layers our 4-person team started to throwing out the make up from central floor. It should have been simple task, but it wasn't. Why? During digging we came across a thin but long layer of plaster lying in the centre of the central floor. It seemed to be a part of some kind of construction. After a day of digging and much of thinking and guessing
(Part of platform? Skinny bin?) Jack had a great solution. It is a bench! It could be true as the construction is skinny, edge are quite deep and have a plaster only on the outside walls. What more during last season three platforms were executed on the north (2) and the south (1) of the "bench". Despite of our clever interpretation, prof. Ian Hodder doesn't agree with us. He suppose that our mysterious construction could be a collapsed part of partition wall. Now we have to prove our point of view.
Today, during cleaning, we also reveal two obsidian tool. As they are a part of the earlier layer on the south we can take it out the site yet. There is an interpretation that they are lying inside another, small hearth. It will be also our pririty to bring it to the laboratory.
But now the most important team's tasks are to continue removing layer of U.20327 and take of the South wall. These are really big work to do but we are an aproppiate people to deal with it!
