| Entry: | Today we reached an ash layer that is surprisingly found in both western sections of building 98. There is though, a disagreement on the chronological equivalence of the two layers of the two room sections. JMR suggests that probably the layers are not contemporaneous. There is a large amount of ceramics, clay balls and bones, especially in the western half of space 341. Near the center of the western wall there is an enormous pot, reaching circa 50 cm in diameter. It is important to note that there are quite a few of beatifully painted but unfired sherds. |
