Unit 20124 - There are 799 sherds from this unit. 781 of them are post-Chalcolithic, but only 7 are Neolithic and 11 Chalcolithic. All of which are highly fragmented, the largest sherd is only 3cm.
Unit 20127 - This unit contains 22 Neolithic and 28 Chalcolithic sherds, there are no post-Chalcolithic sherds in this unit. The realtionship between this unit and 20124 seems problematic because according to the matrix the deposit of unit 20124 is directly below 20127, yet 20127 contains no post-Chalcolithic pottery while the majority of 20124 consists of late post-Chalcolithıc material.
Unit 20129 - This unit contains 50 sherds, 30 Neolithic sherds, 9 Chalcolithic sherds, and 11 post-Chalcolithic sherds. 9 of the Neolithic sherds are red slipped, this style is also present in the İST area. |
