Unit 20215 contains 32 Neolithic sherds and 8 post-Chalcolithic sherds.
Unit 20232 contains 38 Neolithic sherds, 3 Chalcolithic, and 11 post-Chalcolithic sherds.
In both units, some of the post-Chalcolithic sherds are abraded and worn but the other sherds have sharp edges with fairly fresh breaks (prior or at to deposit). The Neolithic sherds from these units are mixed, with sherds from the mid and late Neolithic.
In terms of the pottery, clearly this indicates that these are mixed post-Chalcolithic deposits. |
